Meet the soapmaker
I started Score Soap in 2011 after participating in an advanced soap making workshop that was way above my novice skill level. Starting a business was the creative outlet I craved after leaving my previous career as a professional writer. The spirit behind Score Soap is the thrilling feeling you get after finding the one thing you've been seeking.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are your products organic or all natural? The only ingredients that would not be considered "natural" in my products are fragrance oils and some lab-created colorants, like cosmetic glitter. My basic recipe includes cosmetic grade natural oils and butters. "Organic" products must meet strict regulations and be designated as such by organizations like the USDA.
How can I make my soap last longer? Keep it dry between uses by placing it in a draining soap dish or shower rack.
Do you make custom soaps? I do, and they are the most fun!
What are the unlikeliest ingredients you've ever made soap with? Cucumbers, beer, whiskey, coffee, and sacramental oil blessed by Catholic Fillipino Nuns.
